The Iznik Ultra Marathon is a 160 km relay race composed of 4-person teams held around Iznik Lake, the 5th largest lake in Turkey and the largest in Marmara. Throughout the 160 km, you will discover rare beauty and challenges. In this marathon, you will run while passing through lush forests with picturesque landscapes. Additionally, throughout the day you will need to descend from high places, facing challenging inclines and climbing peaks. You will gain the endurance and determination needed to overcome all difficulties. The Iznik Ultra Marathon will challenge you physically and mentally, and showcase you at your best. Participating in this marathon is not just about running, it's about taking a step towards a lifestyle.

In the Iznik Ultra Marathon, you run with your 4-person team in the opposite direction of the clock around Iznik Lake. The marathon starts and finishes in the center of Iznik. The course is mostly fast running with some technical paths. The route offers natural beauty, local culture and historical heritage views.
The race starts on Friday evening April 14th, at 17:00 in Iznik, and finishes on Saturday evening April 15th at 23:00, again in Iznik.
