Iznik Ultra Marathon 160K / Relay Duo (2-person Team)
The Iznik Ultra Marathon is a 160 km relay race composed of 2-person teams held around Iznik Lake, the 5th largest lake in Turkey and the largest in Marmara. Throughout the 160 km, you will discover rare beauty and challenges. In this marathon, you will run while passing through lush forests with picturesque landscapes. Additionally, throughout the day you will need to descend from high places, facing challenging inclines and climbing peaks. You will gain the endurance and determination needed to overcome all difficulties. The Iznik Ultra Marathon will challenge you physically and mentally, and showcase you at your best. Participating in this marathon is not just about running, it's about taking a step towards a lifestyle.

The first team member who completes the İznik Ultra 75K race and the second team member who completes the Orhangazi Ultra 90K race are considered eligible to receive ITRA points for these races.
When run as a relay race:
- When the 1st runner of the team arrives at Örnekköy, the time for the 2nd runner starts.
- The 2nd runner makes their way to the Örnekköy departure area on their own. The 1st runner departs on their own.
- If the first runner fails to reach Örnekköy (cannot finish the race) or their arrival time is after the start of the Orhangazi Ultra 90K race (07:00), the second runner takes over with the 90K race.
- Relay race participants can use the transportation services of the İznik Ultra 90K race in both directions.
- Relay race participants have a relay rank when they finish. Also, included to related age group classifications of the 75K and 90K races, due to net time results. As these runners will start after or before 75K and 90K races, they will not be included in overall but only in age group results.
In the Iznik Ultra Marathon, you run with your 2-person team in the opposite direction of the clock around Iznik Lake. The marathon starts and finishes in the center of Iznik. The course is mostly fast running with some technical paths. The route offers natural beauty, local culture and historical heritage views.
The race starts on Friday evening April 19th, at 19:00 in Iznik, and finishes on Saturday evening April 20th at 00:00, again in Iznik.
